Union Minister Hardeep Puri offers prayers at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri visited the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on Saturday and offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath for peace and welfare.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the Union minister at the temple premises during the visit.

Puri performed traditional rituals and prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum amid Vedic chants. During the ceremony, temple chief priest Yogi Kamalnath presented an angavastram of Shivgoraksha to the Union minister as a mark of honour in the presence of the chief minister.
