Delhi BJP launches Tiranga Yatras campaign across districts
Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra on Sunday launched the Tiranga Yatra campaign across all district areas and several mandals of the capital ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day on August 15, with simultaneous marches held in the New Delhi, West, and North-West districts.
The yatra will take place under the leadership of Members of Parliament and senior party leaders, with Malhotra announcing he will personally lead the Chandni Chowk district march on Monday.
The campaign is being coordinated under the guidance of State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, and a large number of youth workers participated under BJP Yuva Morcha President Rajat Chaudhary.
In the New Delhi district, the Tiranga Yatra began under MP Bansuri Swaraj and District President Ravindra Chaudhary. The march started from Pilanji Village and concluded at Greater Kailash M Block Market. MLA Neeraj Basoya, MLA Shikha Roy, MLA Anil Sharma, District General Secretaries Anand Singh, Satyendra Tomar, and Monica Juneja, Municipal Councillors Anjum Mandal, Anita Basoya, Himani Jain, and Dharamveer, along with thousands of workers, participated. In West District, the Tiranga Yatra began from Dholi Piau under BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh and West Delhi MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat and concluded at Tilak Nagar Police Station.
Delhi Government Ministers Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Ashish Sood, District President Chandrapal Bakshi, MLAs Shyam Sharma and Kailash Gangwal, and several municipal councillors and thousands of workers participated.
