Avi Polymers plans to enter green tech

Polymers and specialty chemicals manufacturer Avi Polymers on Friday said it plans to enter the green technology and sustainability-focused business segments to drive future growth and expansion.
The proposed diversification includes industrial waste management solutions, advanced material recycling technologies, carbon footprint optimisation services and sustainability consulting, a company statement said.
“Avi Polymers aims to build scalable business verticals aligned with evolving global environmental priorities & emerging ESG-driven opportunities,” it said.
The company said its board is expected to meet on June 4 to consider the proposal for its approval.
The board will also evaluate a proposed stock split of equity shares up to a ratio of 1:10 and a bonus issue of equity shares up to a ratio of 10:1.
