AAI team successfully handles emergency medical flight operation at Pantnagar Airport

The Airport Authority of India (AAI) team successfully managed an emergency medical flight operation at Pantnagar Airport in Uttarakhand, ensuring swift and coordinated handling of a critical patient evacuation. Officials said the operation was carried out with high priority clearance and seamless coordination among airport staff and medical teams.
According to officials, the emergency flight was given immediate landing permission, and ground support services were activated without delay to assist in the medical transfer. Air traffic control and airport emergency response teams worked in coordination to ensure smooth movement of the aircraft and patient handling.
The AAI confirmed that all safety protocols and aviation standards were strictly followed during the operation. The patient was safely transported for further medical treatment, and no disruption to regular airport operations was reported during the emergency handling.
The successful operation highlights the preparedness and efficiency of airport emergency response systems, particularly at regional airports like Pantnagar, where timely coordination is critical in medical evacuation cases.
