4-Year-old dies after bus catches fire in Ujjain

A four-year-old child was killed after an intercity express bus caught fire late Thursday night in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district, officials said.
The incident took place in the Tarana area along the Agra-Mumbai National Highway when the bus was parked outside a hotel. More than 50 passengers were reportedly onboard at the time of the fire.
According to reports, the flames spread rapidly through the vehicle, triggering panic among passengers. The child was unable to escape and was charred to death in the incident.
Authorities rushed to the spot after receiving information about the blaze. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation has been launched.
