A 19-year-old youth was arrested after he allegedly sodomised his two-and-a-half year old nephew on Sunday night in Central Delhi’s Ranjit Nagar area. What is more shocking is the fact that the child was left at the home of the accused as his parents gone to the market. The shocking incident was reported to the police and the accused was arrested.
According to the police, the incident was discovered by the victim’s parents as they found their child weeping when they reached home after work. They informed the police control room as the mother of the toddler noticed that something was amiss with her son. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors confirmed that he has been sexually assaulted. The child also suffered minor injuries to his nether regions. The child revealed that his teen relative had sodomised him, following which a case was registered under Section 377 of IPC and Sections of Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The accused was arrested.
