Delhi Police on Tuesday assured full cooperation to Delhi Commission for Women to ensure safety of women in the capital.
DCW chief Swati Maliwal Jaihind held a meeting with Delhi Police Commissioner and Special CP law and Order Deepak Mishra at 1 pm on Tuesday. “Most importantly, Delhi Police Commissioner ensured full cooperation on the issue of GB Road. He assured that Delhi Police will work in tandem with the DCW and promised full cooperation,” Jaihind said.
“They assured support and access to data on molestations that DCW had sought,” Maliwal added.
Maliwal also wrote a letter to DCPs to expedite the cases of release of 15 girls from Short Stay Homes in Nirmal Chhaya Complex.
