Delhi recorded 109 coronavirus cases on Thursday with a positivity rate of 0.14 per cent, while eight more people succumbed to the disease, according to data shared by the health department of the Delhi Government.
According to data, the total number of active cases in the city reached 1,767 of which 523 are in home isolation.
The city has reported more than 14 lakh cases till now. A total of 77382 tests, including 54581 RT-PCR tests, were conducted a day ago, the bulletin said.
In order to deal with the “possible” third wave of Covid-19, the Delhi Government has speeded up revamping several existing hospitals to increase the number of beds and also building new hospitals.
