The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will transform the Devbhoomi in five years by implementing new ideas and a comprehensive agenda for the development and prosperity of Uttarakhand, party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday while appealing to the BJP and Congress supporters to give AAP a chance in the forthcoming Assembly polls in the State.
Addressing the people, Kejriwal said that the Congress ruled for 10 years while the BJP formed the Government here for 11 years and both the parties wreaked havoc on the people and hindered the development of Uttarakhand.
"Being a fairly new party, the AAP is bringing in a fresh perspective with an honest CM candidate. We have delivered on our promises and made immense progress in Delhi. Similarly, we have ideated an elaborate agenda with new and revolutionary plans to ensure Uttarakhand’s development. We will make healthcare facilities accessible in even the most remote villages in the State," he added.
"Supporters of BJP-Congress will also benefit from free education and healthcare, 24x7 free electricity, and unemployment allowance. Uttarakhand owes thousands of crores as debt thanks to the debacles of the BJP and Congress over 21 years. Along with the myriad of advancements, AAP will not only make Uttarakhand debt-free, but also profitable like Delhi," he
said.
The AAP Convenor further said, “ The AAP will build schools across the state in every village to make sure that quality education is provided to every child in Uttarakhand. We will transform the Government schools, mirroring our Delhi model.
"We will create and provide jobs for the youth of Uttarakhand. And an unemployment allowance till said jobs are secured. We will provide free electricity 24x7. We want to build impressive government schools in Uttarakhand.
“Health services will be provided from village to village and everyone in Uttarakhand will receive free medical treatment. When we provide electricity for 24 hours a day," he added.
