What BJP couldn't do in MCD in 15 years, AAP will achieve in 5 years: Sisodia

Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday said that what  BJP could not do in MCD for 15 years, AAP will achieve in just five years.

The Deputy Chief Minister held a samvad in Dwarka Assembly constituency where he interacted with local residents to discuss various civic issues they faced as a result of BJP’s maladministration and corruption during its rule in MCD spanning over 15 years.

The party has fielded Capt Shalini Singh from Dwarka A and Sudha Sinha from Dwarka B ward.  AAP MLA from Matiala, Gulab Singh was also present.

“Primary responsibility of the BJP-ruled MCD was to clean Delhi; But instead, BJP wiped the pockets of citizens with its corruption in past 15 years,” he said while interacting with people.

Cautioning the voters to exercise their voting power effectively, the deputy chief minister said that voting for anyone other than AAP equal to a waste of vote.

“Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s councillors will resolve all the issues faced by the people and bring development in their area; they will ensure regular cleanliness of their wards.

If you elect a councillor of any other party by mistake, they will stall the work done for citizen’s welfare and will pick fights with Kejriwal all day long.

People in every society of Dwarka are fed up with piles of garbage lying across their constituency and with the pathetic state of parks maintained by BJP-ruled MCD,”  Sisodia added.

Senior AAP leader also tweeted, “I have two questions for those garbage-warriors of BJP who are seeking votes for MCD elections.

Why did BJP turn Delhi into a city of piles of garbage and garbage mountains in the past 15 years? Do BJP leaders know anything other than abusing Arvind Kejriwal?”

He said that Delhiites gave one chance to Kejriwal and he fulfilled all his promises and now they are ready to give AAP a chance to get work done in the MCD as well.
