As the national Capital awaits another Assembly polls, Delhiites will have an opportunity to put forth their problems and suggest viable solutions to them. Reaching out to public through a special membership drive, the Delhi BJP will distribute a questionnaire seeking their views on area specific issues. The BJP will also ask people about the solution they want for their problems. The membership drive will be launched in the entire city and various professional groups, mostly youth, will be targeted by BJP volunteers ahead of the re-election which looms large over the Capital.

“Delhi BJP has prepared seven-point questionnaire in order to connect directly with the people and to know about their problems and solution of these problems. Through a special membership campaign in the Capital, the BJP workers will distribute the questionnaire to every household and get them filled. This way the party will be able to know about the priorities and problems of the people. The party promises to incorporate their suggestions in the manifesto and also try to solve these problems,” said a Delhi BJP leader. The BJP will also seek people’s feedback on performance of the previous Governments and the steps taken to address the key issues.

In the questionnaire the party has asked the people to inform whether their families are living in Delhi for the last five years or more.  What are the main problems of Delhi and were the steps taken by the previous Government sufficient enough to solve the problem. The BJP will ask people the specific problems in different localities that should be accorded priority by the Delhi Government. The questionnaire will also seek their views on functioning of the Municipal Corporations and their expectation from the civic bodies. Apart from this, people will be asked about five major works that they want to be taken up by the future Government on priority basis.

BJP leaders said the membership campaign will be launched from June 15 to 30 across Delhi. The party will try to connect to all sections of society, especially professionals like doctors, engineers, IT experts, youth, women and senior citizens.
