Water supply will be affected in parts of National Capital on Thursday and Friday due to maintenance work and annual flushing of underground reservoir and booster pumping station of Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
According to the statement released by DJB, the water supply will be cut or will be available with low pressure in Sector B-1 Vasant Kunj, Kailash Kunj, Block -6 Kalkaji, MB Road BPS, Dwarka, Nasirpur, Palam, Mahavir Enclave, Sagarpur Sector-1,Mukunpur, Jharoda Kala area, Sector-7, Sector-9 Manglapuri Indrapark, 280 MIG House Pkt.6 Plot no. 4&5 Nasirpur, 208 Janta Houe Pkt. 6 Plot No. 10 Nasirpur, R.K. Puram Sector-VII, B3B Block Janakpuri , DA Block LIG Hari Nagar, Lal Mandir Baljieet Nagar Nan Khaddi area, Tagore Garden, DDA Flats, Pandav Nagar, BB Block BPS East Shalimar Bagh, F-25 Sector-7 Rohini, Patpar Ganj Society area, East & West Vinod Nagar, Gazipur, Chilla DDA Flats.
Further due to annual program for flushing of underground reservoir and booster pumping station, water supply will be affected on Friday in the areas of Sector d-3 & D-4 Vasant Kunj, Mount Kailash, R.K. Puram Sector-VII, D&E Block C.R. Park, Kapashera Village, 472 Janta House Pkt.6 Nasirpur, 272 Janta House Pkt.6 Plot no. 21 Nasirpur, LSC E Block Vikaspuri, DB Block LIG Hari Nagar, G No.8 21-B Baljeet Nagar, Durga Mohalla, H-18 Sector-7 Rohini, AU Block Pitampura, Slum Quarters, Flat of Mall Apartment, New Kondli.
The board has advised the residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirement to avoid any inconvenience. As per the board, water tankers will be available to the residents.
