Water supply will be hit in parts of Delhi on Tuesday and Wednesday due to annual flushing of underground reservoir and booster pumping station.
The supply would not be available or available at low pressure on Tuesday in the areas like Deer Park, Kishan Garh, Mahrauli, Green Park, Munirka, Malviya Nagar, D and E Block Chitranjan Park, Neeti Bagh, Nehru Nagar, OHT 4 Story DDA Kalkaji, A2 Block Janakpuri area, Sultanpur, Pooth Khurd, Mazra Dabas, Chandpur, Burari area, Geeta Colony, laxmi Nagar, Ramesh Park.
Further, the supply will also be affected on Wednesday due to the annual flushing of underground reservoir. The affected areas are Vasant lok, Deer Park, Kishan Garh, Mahrauli, Green Park, Munirka, Malviya Nagar, D&E Block Chitranjan Park, and 182 SFS DUS Pkt-I Sector-7 Nasirpur, Amar Colony, Godavari Apptt, A2 Block Janakpuri area, Shalimar Bagh, Pitampura, Bihari Colony, East Azad Nagar, Bhola Nath Nagar, and Shalimar Park.
Delhi Jal Board has advised residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirement to avoid any inconvenience.
