The Waste to Wonder Park developed under the guidance of the then Commissioner Dr Punit Kumar Goel is becoming most favoured tourist destination in Delhi.
The park was opened on 2nd February this year; since than its footfall is surging day by day. A senior SDMC official said that the response of the visitors is very encouraging and that also yielded Rs 2 crore to the Corporation by selling of tickets. The park is first of its kind in the country as all the seven wonders of the world have been created with metal waste dumped in the SDMC's stores. The seven wonders designed in the original look of the wonders built across the world and exhibited in the park in the green and serene atmosphere have been disseminating the most attractive creation.
