The Leader of Opposition (LoP) Vijendra Gupta on Sunday inaugurated a library for the students and entertainment cum relaxing centre for senior citizens in his Rohini Vidhan Sabha. The centre was created on the lands which were used to dump garbage.
Gupta said that he has further planned to turn the un-designated dump yards in the library and a centre for senior citizen rest in the Rohini Vidhan Sabha.
"The centre for senior citizens has been constructed from the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) funds and the estimated cost of this centre is Rs 30 lakh. This centre is located near the residential area, easily accessible to the elderly persons. The main aim behind this project is to create a space for the senior citizens where they can go, relax, chat with their friends and have their own time," said Gupta.
