Former Delhi Jal Board CEO and a 1992 batch IAS officer Vijay Kumar would be new secretary of lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has appointed Kumar as Secretary to lieutenant-Governor of Delhi with immediate effect. Kumar is currently posted as Administrator of lakshadweep. Kumar had earlier worked under the AAP Government in 2015.
Current secretary to l-G SCl Das is going to the USA on study leave from June 30.
A 1991-batch officer Ranbir Singh would be new Administrator of lakshadweep. Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred him from Mizoram to Delhi Government on April 26.
