After the Member of Parliament’s (MPs) and MLAs, the Union Minister Harsh Vardhan will also take part in the famous Luv kush Ram Leela play organised every year in October marking the Hindu festival Dusshera in the national Capital. Harsha Vardhan will play the role of Raja Janak on October 12. Apart from Vardhan, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sapla, Vijendar Gupta, Leader of opposition (LoP) and Sanjay Yadav , MLA (Bihar) will also participate.
Ram leela is conducted every year before Dusshera to celebrate the Victory of Lord Rama over the demon King Ravana.
“I have done roles in Ram Leela held in the society of Geeta colony but this will be the first time that I will be acting in the big level play which is watched by hundreds of people who come from across the country and abroad. The role given to me is Janak and the experience will be good, so I am more excited,” Said Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Science & Technology, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Ministry of Earth Sciences.
Minister Vardhan will be participating in the Luv Khush Ram Leela, which is one of the oldest committee in Delhi and has been organizing Ramlila at Red Fort since many decades.
