Addressing convocation at the Centre for Management Development in Modinagar, 40 km from the Capital, UP Governor Bl Joshi stressed on quality academia. He said just fancy buildings will not suffice; what will are academic upgrade, top-notch faculty and committed scholars. In his keynote address, he lauded UP Government’s initiative towards improving curricula but also rued the lack of results.
“Only if our students are competent enough to withstand competition from outside can our country generate employment. Vocational education can make the country self-reliant,” said the Governor.
