The Delhi Government on Friday announced a two-day job fair at the Thyagaraj Stadium, starting November 7. The decision to organise job fair was taken at a meeting chaired by Employment Minister Gopal Rai. Representatives of private companies were also present at the meeting.
About 100 private companies are expected to participate in the job fair. They would be screening the jobseekers, registered on the fair’s web portal, which was launched recently, Rai said. The Employment department said a job fair for the Divyang (differently-abled people) was held on March 17-18, in which 11 private companies participated and 112 jobseekers were shortlisted. Another job fair was held on May 12, 2018.
