Two lab technicians were choked to death after a diagnostic clinic caught fire in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area in the early hours of Thursday. The deceased have been identified as Robin Abraham and Vipin.
According to police, the incident took place around 4 am at the City X-Ray Clinic situated in Tilak Nagar area. The deceased persons were working in the CT scan department and saw smoke coming out from the air conditioner vent. The three storey clinic was filled with smoke. The deceased tried to save themselves and rush out but did not succeed. The security guards also tried to save them but all in vain. Robin and Vipin were found lying unconscious near the staircase. The guards managed to escape. Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
