The CISF, which guards the Delhi Metro, has created a model station to showcase the best practices and etiquettes of travel in rapid public transport systems across the globe for passenger comfort and safety.
In the first phase, the Jasola metro station has been declared a model station and additional CISF personnel have been deployed to aid passengers in making queues and manoeuvring in a disciplined manner in the station area and before boarding.
“Passengers, as part of the model station project, will be helped and directed by specially trained CISF men and women to easily take the stairs, escalators and form queues before boarding the train coach,” a senior official said.
