Amid the sealing row that has emerged as the epicenter of unrest among traders in Delhi, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari assured the traders of Delhi that they can now feel ‘confident’ that the demand for increasing the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) and waiver of penalty on conversion fee are almost approved. This is being seen conceived as a solution to the plight of traders affected due to sealing drive.
Tiwari along with leader of Opposition the in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta addressed a Press Conference in which Satish Garg a trader leader connected with CAIT and apprised about the efforts being made by Central Government for providing relief from sealing. They also expressed their gratitude to Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for his initiative being taken in this direction. Tiwari said he met the Monitoring Committee members who have assured him that in view of the Government's efforts the sealing will be immediately discontinued in the special area.
BJP spokesperson said that Delhi BJP is extending full support of Delhi Bandh called by CAIT on February 2 and 3.
