Delhi Police Commissioner, SN Shrivastava on Monday felicitated the teams of Sir Gangaram Kolmet hospital and Hamdard National Foundation who supervised and rendered valuable assistance in arranging doctors and paramedical staff required for running Delhi Police Covid Care Centres in Rohini and Shahdara.
“With the timely support of Hamdard foundation and Sir Gangaram Kolmet Hospital, two covid care centres for police personnel and their families were started in Shahdara and Rohini.
“These centers provided service to about 125 police personnel and their families (124), along with critical support of 47 patients who were referred to other big hospitals,” said Chinmoy Biswal, the spokesperson of Delhi Police.
The CP thanked both the institutions for providing timely and valuable support in establishing these centres in a short span of time.
“The noble initiative became an immediate success due to the whole hearted cooperation of these institutions.
“Their selfless and noble contribution has earned the enduring gratitude and respect of the entire Delhi Police family and has inspired us to continue working for the residents of the city with renewed vigor and dedication in these difficult times,” said Biswal.
