In an unfortunate incident, a three-year-old girl died when she accidentally fell off from the balcony of her house in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri area on Monday. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Nidhi.
Her parents were not home when she allegedly walked out of her room and fell down from the balcony, said police.
The incident took place at around 4pm in Block 36 of the Trilokpuri area in East Delhi when Nidhi’s mother had gone to buy groceries to a nearby place. She had left her daughter at home. The mother informed police that she had made Nidhi sat inside her room, where the toddler was playing with her toys.
At around 4pm, locals of the area heard a thud sound and saw that Nidhi, who had fallen from the fourth floor of the house, was lying in a pool of blood on the road.
On seeing a crowd outside her house, the child’s mother rushed and found her daughter bleeding.
She informed her husband, who was out at work. locals in the meantime, made a PCR call after which Nidhi was rushed to lal Bahadur Shastri hospital where she was declared brought dead.
