Taking a jibe on the “apology act” of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said that in less than six years of being in public life, Kejriwal stands out as the most incredible face in Indian politics.
Terming the sequence of apologies by the Kejriwal as Maafinaame ki Bahaar hai…Dilli lachaar Hai , he said that Kejriwal entered the political arena pretending as an anti corruption crusader and to grow in stature took upon himself the task of leveling unfounded allegations against established political leaders like Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Bikramjit Singh Majithia and many others.
“Within couple of years after being challenged in Court today people are witness to Kejriwal backtracking on his allegations against these senior leaders,” Tiwari said.
“Due to the unethical politics played by Kejriwal to defame opponents , he has not only tarnished his own image but has put the credibility of political system at stake,” the BJP leader said further.
Tiwari has said that be it on development or crucial issue like sealing the Kejriwal Government and its MlAs have let down the people of Delhi.
Delhi BJP leader Pratyush Kanth said, “Kejriwal has probably realised that senior BJP leaders likes Finance Minister Arun Jaitely command veneration all across India and trying to spread blatant lies about them will one day land him in Jail and Delhiites too deserve an apology from him”.
