Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari has expressed gratitude to the Centre for taking concrete steps for providing relief to the traders by amending various provisions of Delhi Master Plan-2021 after fresh enquiry and hearing.
He said, “With this amendment, the Centre and the DDA have taken initiative to fulfil its promises made to city traders.”
“The trading activities in the markets started before 1962 in areas like Tilak Nagar, Rajouri Garden, lajpat Nagar and Kamla Nagar will get instant relief. It will also help in providing relief to other markets also,” he said.
Tiwari hailed Union Urban Development Minister Sardar Hardeep Singh Puri and l-G Anil Baijal for protecting the livelihood of thousands of traders by taking special interest in the matter.
