National and international tourists visiting Delhi will now able to book their site visits through e-ticketing at various information counters all over India. Delhi Chief Secretary SK Srivastava, on Thursday, launched an Online Travel Portal (e-Paryatan) developed by Delhi Tourism in association with D Paul’s Travels. launching the portal, Srivastava said, “It is a unique facility for the Government servants perusing lTC and office tours. I hope people will take benefit of the e-portal for booking tickets, hotels, getting package tours and availing transport facilities. Government officers will also take benefit of this portal in booking their tickets.” He also added that the move will also help to increase the revenue and make the division self sustainable and not depend entirely on air ticketing and foreign exchange business but to emphasise on other activities such as Hotel Booking, Air packages for Domestic as well as International sector, bus booking all over India, visa and travel insurance services, for Government employees as well as the general public.
