The loni town of Ghaziabad reeled under tension after its residents found pieces of cow flesh at about 12 places around the town. The police said loni residents were shocked to see the cow flesh in Jawali and Ristol villages.
The residents started shouting slogans after they saw flesh pieces. The mob gathered near the Jawali village and started shouting slogans against the local administration.
As the news reached the district headquarters at Ghazia-bad the SSP and the ADM (E) rushed to the spot. Former MlA Madan Bhaiya, also, reached the spot and requested the mob to calm down.
Till the filing of this report the police patrolling was intensified in the area. The senior officers were deputed to watch the situation. “It seems a conspiracy to disturb the communal harmony in the area. The patrolling is being intensified and conspirators would be nabbed soon,” said SP (Rural) Jagdish Sharma.
