In yet another incident of sexual assault, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men on Tuesday night in South Delhi’s Safdarjung Enclave area.
A student of IXth standard, she was taken to a parking lot in Dussehra ground in Pilanji village and then gang-raped. The three accused have been identified as Rohit, Narender and Tinku.
Narender was arrested late on Wednesday night, while the other two are on the run. The incident was reported by victim’s kin on Wednesday.
According to police, the girl had left her Pilanji residence at around 8:30 pm to go for a drive with her friend Rohit. Rohit had come along with two other friends —Narender and Tinku. The girl was offered a laced drink after which she fell unconscious and the culprits took her to Dussehra ground and gang-raped her.
