Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDl) has introduced toll free helpline number 19124 for its consumers. The new number will be available 24x7 and can be used to access multiple services like new connection, update or change information related to account, query status, power theft complaint, employee verification, new schemes and offers, street light complaints.
A senior Tata Power-DDl official said that consumers calling from Delhi now can dial 19124 (short code for 1800-208-9124) while those calling from outside Delhi can reach the company on 1800-208-9124.
“The short code has been specifically assigned to Tata Power DDl for registering electricity complaints by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology,” the official said.
