The juvenile, accused in the December 16 gang-rape case, on Wednesday denied all charges against him, claiming that he did not take part in the horrendous crime.

Pleading innocence before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) presided by Principal Magistrate Geetanjali Goel, the youth refuted the police's version in the chargesheet that stated him “the most brutal of all the six accused persons.” He claimed that he has been falsely implicated in the case. The juvenile proclaimed innocence when the JJB put before him evidence collected by the police.

He said he was himself victimised by his employer and prime accused Ram Singh, who did not even pay him for his work. A native of Uttar Pradesh, the juvenile moved to Delhi when he was 11 years old and took up menial jobs.

The fast-track court has also completed recording statements of all 80 prosecution witnesses.
