'Sunanda ordered last room service in the afternoon'

Sunanda Pushkar, had ordered some food in the afternoon which was delivered in her room 345. Police sources said that after 4 pm, no one entered her room. After seizing the CCTV footage of the corridor of the floor, police will question the hotel staff, including the one who probably served the last order. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has also asked Twitter to allow them access to her handle and Shashi Tharoor’s. There is a possibility that a medical board will be constituted to ascertain the exact reason behind the death.

“We have asked the hotel authorities to give us the guest list of the hotel and also asked them to summon hotel staff from all the shifts,” police sources added. Investigators are also trying to ascertain the room service Pushkar ordered on Friday.

Police sources added prime facie, it seems to be a case of natural death since no external injury marks have been found on her body. The victim was found lying motionless in her night clothes with the quilt over her in the room in her bed.

According to a former diplomat and close friend of the Minister, Pushkar had not been keeping well. TP Sreenivasan, who hails from the state Capital and has been a diplomat for more than three decades, told reporters in Thiruvanthapuram that Tharoor had informed him of his wife’s illness. “She had undergone treatment in France recently and after checkups it was found that she had some serious health issues. I pacified him after hearing it,” said Sreenivasan.

She was diagnosed by Kerala Institute of Medical Science and at that time she had tweeted that she had been diagnosed with so many problems at a time when her personal life was in crisis.
