Speaker's instruction falls on AAP MlAs deaf ears

Flouting the Rule 264 (2) (1) of the Rule of the Procedures and Conduct of Business in Delhi that states that a member while speaking shall not refer to Government official by name, AAP MlAs on Tuesday cracked jokes on Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Prime Minister Modi over the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) row calling them by

their names.

Delhi Assembly speaker Ram Niwas Goel’s plea also went unheard.

Citing Jaitley as ‘Sophisticated Kalmadi’, Delhi Water and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra said, “To prove ‘Sophisticated Kalmadi’ innocent in the DDCA row, all the Centre-led Cabinet Ministers are doing Press conferences every minute to favour him.”

While launching an attack on the Union Finance Minister, MlA from Chandni Chowk Alka lamba said BJP-led Central Government is making all efforts to save Arun Jatiley. “Arjun Jatiley is like a fish that has eaten smaller fishes and now he has to answer all.”

Rajinder Nagar MlA Vijender Garg and Mongolpuri MlA Rakhi Birla and Somnath Bharti also disobeyed the Rule 264 (2) (1) of the Procedures and Conduct of Business in Delhi.

However, leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta demanded the Speaker to order AAP MlAs not to make mockery on the name of Union Finance Minister, but none of the AAP leaders obeyed the speaker.
