Ruling Samajwadi Party MlA from Siwal Khas (Meerut) and his five accomplices have been booked by the Ghaziabad police in a criminal case. They have been booked under Sections 147, 323 and 506 of the IPC.
The Indirapuram police in Ghaziabad district registered the case after six days of filing of the complaint. in the First Information Report (FIR), lodged by eminent lawyer and Rashtriya lok Dal (RlD) State general secretary Kunwar Ayub Ali, it was claimed that on July 24, MlA Gulam Mohammad, his son Sarique, Afzal and three others barged into the emergency ward of Yashoda Hospital in Kaushambi and ransacked it and beat up Ayub Ali’s son Azhar, who is son-in-law of the MlA. They also forcibly took away Gulam’s daughter Fatima with them to Meerut.
Ayub Ali stated that after taking away his daughter-in-law, the MlA lodged a false FIR that his Fatima’s in-laws tried to kill her by administering poison.
Ayub Ali filed a petition before the local CJM court that the Indirapuram police did not register his case on his complaint due to which the accused MlA had taken advantage and filed a complaint against him and his family. As the court sought the report from the police, the Indirapuram police informed that it had registered the case on July 30.
Giving details, Kunwar Ayub Ali claimed that the MlA had taken a loan of `25 lakh from him for contesting Assembly election but did not return the amount.
When his son Azhar asked for the money for his business, the MlA labelled false allegation and accused Azhar of demanded `5 crore dowry and a high-end car. Kunwar Ayub Ali alleged that the Meerut police registered the case under the influence of being the MlA from the ruling Samajwadi Party.
However, the Allahabad High Court stayed the proceeding of the case and instructed the MlA to deposit `50,000 fee at the mediation centre
“After proceedings of he case were being stayed by Allahabad High Court and the registration of FIR at Indirapuram, it has been exposed how the ruling Samajwadi Party MlA is misusing the power,” said Ayub Ali.
