luring a teenage boy for homosexuality act cost a man his life as the juvenile killed him to rob his new mobile phone. The 17-year-old juvenile has been apprehended regarding the case.
He was nabbed on Wednesday from his house in Sangam Vihar by the of South-East Delhi police. The deceased, a driver by profession from the last 13-14 years had worked with many taxis stands and cab operators.
“Around 1,000 drivers of various taxi stands were also questioned and their GPS locations at the possible time of incident were all minutely analyzed. Teams were sent to lucknow to see whether he had any enmity with anyone at his native place. During the investigation, it was revealed that a juvenile who frequented the area was suspected to be of dubious character,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) Dr P Karunakaran. It was also revealed that he was not seen in the area ever since the incident. Acting on a tip off the juvenile was nabbed at around 8.30 am from his house in Sangam Vihar. He later confessed his involvement in the crime.
During questioning, the juvenile allegedly told police that he met Guddu on the day of the incident in a bus plying from Karol Bagh to Khanpur. Guddu made sexual advances towards him after which both of them struck a deal. The juvenile also got attracted by the new mobile phone of Guddu and was under the impression that he must be having a good sum of money.
Reaching a secluded spot, the juvenile hit Guddu on his head until he became unconscious and then fled with his mobile phone and `50 found in his pocket.
