Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Sunday slammed the Arvind Kejriwal Government for implementing Odd-even scheme again in the national Capital and paying money to the AAP volunteers and filling their pockets.
The senior Congress leader said earlier, the Odd-even scheme was launched to curb pollution, but it was not affective. “Did pollution come down at the first launch of Odd-even..IJ,” said Dikshit.
Taking a dig on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, she said, “This time the odd- even scheme is to fill the pockets of their volunteer. If you want to help the Government, then you have to take the membership of the AAP Government, then only you will be paid,” said Dikshit.
Beside, the AAP Government has misled the people on water scheme, free medicine scheme, providing jobs to guest teachers. And people in north Delhi are not getting free water, 24X7 electricity.
Commenting on the Mohalla Shaba of the Kejriwal Government, Dikshit said the Delhi Government has changed the name of RWAs which our Government had created. “They have created Mohalla Sabha know body knows,” she said.
“RWA got huge appreciation from Government of India in the past. Even it had won United Nations prize too as it worked for the people of the constituency. What the AAP Government is doing in Mohalla Sabha for the people nobody knows,” said the former Delhi CM.
For the free medicine scheme of the AAP Government Dikshit said, “For the past 30 years, people are getting free medicines in the hospital. Our Government also used to provide medicine to people. Nothing new in this.”
It seems that the Kejriwal Government has turned blind over the issue of lokpal for which it came into the power, said the senior politician.
“Recently, an RTI revealed that for the recruitment of guest teachers in Delhi till December 2015, about 42 per cent teachers were recruited from outside Delhi. Where is the employment for Delhiites,” she said.
