Police also said that the man created drama the RMl hospital where he was taken for treatment and assaulted two policemen assisting him.

According to police, the incident took place around 5 am when two policemen from Connaught Place police station arrived at the hotel after receiving a call of brawl. Senior officers said that the man, who was identified as Nishid Gupta  (28), a resident of Kailash Colony, was with four others, including his parents, sister and brother-in-law.

“As told by the cops who were at the spot, the man was in an inebriated and injured state. While he was being taken for a medical examination to Ram Manohar lohia hospital, he refused to cooperate. Even in the hospital he created ruckus and assaulted the two cops, injuring them,” said police.
