A senior local lawyer was found murdered in Ghaziabad on Wednesday morning. Senior lawyer Jaivir Sharma was allegedly strangulated to death by his driver. His body was recovered in his car in the Bhoorgarhi locality.
The Ghaziabad courts remained close on Wednesday after the bar association announced condolence and decided to suspend the court works for a day. Ghaziabad Bar Association president Anil Pandit said that Jaivir Sharma was found killed in Bhoorgarhi locality under Masuri police station.
“The driver of the lawyer arrested. During his interrogation, he confessed that the lawyer was strangulated to death while on his way to his home in Duhai on Tuesday evening,” said SP Rural Jagdish Sharma.
