A security guard posted at Parswnath Society was killed during his night duty. The incident came to light on Friday morning when his body was found in the society park situated at Mohan Nagar.
According to police, Rajvir Singh (50), a resident of village Arthala, was on his night duty at the society’s main gate where the Parswnath society runs a residential project and the construction at the site is still continuing.
When Rajvir did not reach home in the morning, his family members reached the society and found his body. His body contained sharp-edged cuts over his head. The family members informed the police. The senior police officers including the SSP visited the spot and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
“We are investigating the case keeping all possible angles in to mind. A marriage of his niece was to be solemnised on Friday. Certain works regarding the marriage were assigned to him. The investigation officer has been asked to include all possibilities in the investigation,” said SSP Nitin Tiwari.
