Dr Mohd Rehan Raza, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Saraswati Vihar got himself inoculated with the second dose of Covishield vaccine at Deep Chand Bandhu Government Hospital (DCBH) on Saturday.
Talking to the media, he said that vaccines are safe and everyone should come forward to get them vaccinated. He also interacted with senior citizens at DCBH to know about their vaccine experience at hospitals and to understand how their experience can be made more convenient by district administration’s intervention.
All the people present there expressed their satisfaction with services being provided by the doctors and hospital in subdivision Saraswati Vihar .
Dr Rehan also met with the members of market association, office bearers of RWAs and general public as part of intensified Information, Education & Communication.(IEC) campaign along with enforcement action at Rana Pratap Bagh market and Lawrence road/Rampura Industrial Area Market.
“The members of RWA and market association were informed about the enforcement of strict Covid appropriate behaviour regulations and violations thereof. Members assured complete support and promised that they will strictly adhere to SOP and Various Government directions,” he said.
The district northwest administration is taking an all out effort to contain the spread of Covid-19 and to make the general public more aware about the precautions about the disease .Several teams are there at ground for enforcement action, he added.
