Delhi’s lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung has announced financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the family of traffic constable Mana Ram who was allegedly run over by a car while West District Police has constituted a Special Investigative Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the case.
“The Government will also explore the possibility of extending all help to the family of the deceased, including possibility of a job subject to fulfilling certain requirements”, according to statement issued by l-G. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who visited Delhi Police Headquarters paid homage to the slain constable.
