Buyers of apartments in the ROF Ananda society, situated in Gurugram Sector 95, on Thursday staged a protest against the builder over the alleged incessant delay in handing over possession of the houses and the huge amount of hidden charges.
The builder was supposed to give possession in November 2021 but buyers have been struggling to get their flats for the last several months even after paying the full amount.
The buyers have been consistently staging protests against the builder for failing to deliver the apartments on time but to no avail and buyers allege that all phone calls and emails to the builders are going unanswered. According to home buyer Bhavdeep Singh, who is an advocate by profession, “I purchased a flat in the society when my name came up in a draw in 2018 which was the second draw to allot the flats. I have done full payment of my flat and the builder was supposed to give the possession in November 2021 but they have not done that as yet. This has led to a lot of hardships.”
