A 59-year-old Rajasthan Government engineer posted at Jodhpur House here, who was accused of raping a minor girl at his official residence, was arrested on Wednesday, police said.
SN Mahipal was arrested in the morning from his residence, a senior police officer said.
The 13-year-old victim, hailing from Jharkhand was working at Mahipal’s residence, situated behind Jodhpur House, and alleged that she was raped by him Monday evening.
The victim narrated the incident to her cousin. She was taken to Tughlaq Road police station by her brother to file a case against the accused.
