Raid tweet surfaces 12-hr before incident!

Anti-Corruption Branch Additional Commissioner of Police SS Yadav’s tweet on Monday night has raised eyebrows whether the IPS officer, who is at loggerheads with his senior M K Meena, had prior information about Tuesday’s  CBI raid against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s  trusted lieutenant Rajendra Kumar.

In his tweet at 11.45 pm, about 12 hours before the CBI raided the Player’s Building, Yadav tweeted, “An atmosphere of false and motivated implication of honest people has begun.....who is nextIJ”

While the AAP leaders launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not keeping the CM in the loop about the CBI raid, a local leader said Yadav’s tweet had clearly indicated that  he had prior information  about the  raid. “Through his tweet, Yadav wanted to convey that action was in the making against the AAP  supporters.”

Yadav had been at loggerheads ever since lieutenant- Governor Najeeb Jung had appointed  Joint Commissioner of police MK Meena as  the head of the ACB.

While  Yadav had the complete backing of the CM, Meena  had openly refused to follow Kejriwal’s orders and had been reporting directly to the l-G.

While Yadav’s  tweet was being hotly debated in many political circles,  he posted another  tweet  while the raids were going on, “...I used to hound terrorists in Assam and Meghalaya but here I am feeling corrupts hound honest...”

Another local leader said Yadav’s tweets clearly suggested  that he was  against the Centre and was  in complete agreement with the AAP leadership.

“But the  public servants should not take sides. They should be neutral. That’s what is required  of them.” A local police officer said men in uniform should not openly express their political mindset. “Once they are linked with any political outfit, they  face the wrath of  other outfits.”
