The police said that the MlA Rambir Shokeen is staying with his family in Kamruddin Nagar area of Nihar Vihar. “Around 9 pm, a team led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bawana Satish Kumar had conducted a raid at Shokeen’s residence. Arrested accused Deepak was also present with them,” the officer added.
MlA Shokeen said that Delhi Police had illegally conducted a raid at his residence and when he asked them to show a search warrant, they misbehaved with him. “They abused and misbehaved with me and my wife. They threatened me with dire consequences if I screamed saying I would be implicated on trumped up charges,” alleged Shokeen. However, no police complaint has been made by the MlA as yet.
