Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is likely to address a public rally in Ambedkar Nagar constituency in South Delhi on November 17 while Congress president Sonia Gandhi is likely to address a rally on November 24 at Shastri Park in North East Delhi.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s rally is yet to be finalised. Top sources told The Pioneer that final dates of Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi’s rallies have been finalised. The rally is being seen as a counter move to BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s highly successful rally and its after effects.
The rallies are aimed at lifting the mood of party workers and also inviting them to work for Congress candidates. It had been earlier reported that Delhi Congress was going to hold rallies of Rahul and Sonia Gandhi to prop the sagging morale of party workers across the city.
