The All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) on Monday held a protest at the North Campus of Delhi University against the implementation of four-year undergraduate course.
A section of teacher who have been opposing against the course from the day university announced it were also a part of the protest including certain groups of students. They shouted anti-university slogans and held placards displaying their dissent.
“Such forced changes in education are undemocratic. This course will increase the cost of education which will be a big hurdle for lower and middle-class students particularly for those who come from outside. In such cases many students will not be able to take admission in the university,” said Bhaskara Nand, president of the AIDSO. SR
