Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that the proposal regarding Phase-IV of Delhi Metro will soon be sent to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs’ (HUA) as per the financing policy norms for further consideration and approval.
This issue was discussed when Kejriwal called on Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of HUA.
Various issues were discussed during the meeting including decongestion of traffic problem, ‘Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System’ (RRTS), better maintenance of sewers, sanitation etc.
Kejriwal said that Delhi Government will work with the centre for betterment of the national Capital. Puri further instructed Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary (HUA) to coordinate with Delhi Government for decongesting of traffic as per the recommendations made in the report of the high powered committee on decongesting traffic in Delhi.
