President Ram Nath Kovind visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to enquire about the health condition of former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday.
However, AIIMS administration has not issued any official statement regarding his health condition since August 9, after he was admitted in the ICU after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness. Jaitley is said to be critical and a multidisciplinary team of doctors is supervising his treatment, sources said.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey were also present during president's visit to the hospital.
