In order to curb fatal accidents caused by heavy vehicles, Delhi Traffic Police (DTP) has initiated a drive to confiscate big trucks plying without Rear Underrun Protection Device (RUPD). On an average 70 heavy carriers found plying without these protective devices are being impounded daily.
